No time, stress, too expensive, unknown, not convinced are often the words we use when it comes to our daily well-being. Despite new trends and the development of activities in the well-being sector, we don’t really make the time to nourish our lives differently.

With my lifestyle and travels, I am led to meet peoples from all backgrounds and social levels. By observing each culture and keeping myself informed of well-being trends. I would like to share through my article’s simple tips, at low cost to improve your well-being on a daily basis.

There are so many little things we can change without taking too much effort or even expense.

 

For example,

Have you ever taken the time to ask yourself a few questions, what is the definition of a healthy life for you? how do you take care of yourself? how could you describe self-awareness and how important it is? If we think that happiness is linked to our good health, what makes you really happy?

 

Being healthy isn’t just, eating well and healthily, in fact, you can eat all the cucumber and kale and still be unhealthy.

When you think about it there are various areas that impact our lives, our moods, our happiness, and our days.

CIRCLE OF LIFE

Place a dot on the line to indicate your level of satisfaction in each area. A dot toward the centre indicates dissatisfaction, and a dot toward the periphery indicates satisfaction. For example, if your career is abundant, place a dot on the line somewhere toward the outside of the circle.

Then connect all the dot and identify your imbalances

There are endless possibilities for joy no matter what happens to you. Exploiting these opportunities sometimes requires a little vigilance and effort, but it is worth it! Know that it is perfectly normal not to feel open to joy in every moment. Also remember that the more you open yourself to joy, the more you will receive.

The “Book of Joy” is not written by the Dalai Lama alone; it is a collaboration between the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The book was published in 2016 and is based on a week-long conversation between the two spiritual leaders held in Dharamshala, India, in 2015. Your space, your home. When was the last time you sorted and reorganized your things?
I realized that I keep clothes that I like but haven’t worn in a long time. I kept thinking to myself that I could postpone getting rid of them, but let’s be real. That dress will remain in the closet, and I will never wear it again.
So, go ahead and declutter your space. Get rid of things you will no longer wear or even objects that you have accumulated but that no longer have the same effect on you.


Decluttering is also an excellent way to clear out those things from the past that we accumulate in our heads.
Sorting out your stuff and your home is also sorting out your mind.
You could create more space to dust off old feelings and things that no longer fit you today.

Kale chips recipe

BANGER healthy SNACKS

 

One of the most simple and easy recipe!

Not only a super healthy but also quick, easy and different.

Kale chips are perfect for snacks, or as side. 

Next time you are invited to a pic-nic or bbq instead of picking u potatoes chips at the shop try this recipe your friends are going to love it! 

RECIPE

Healthy KAle chips

Ingredients

  • Easy as Only 3 Ingredients:

    • 1 Bunch of kale 
    • 1 or 2 tbsp Olive oil 
    • Salt 

    You can spiced up with some chili flaxes 

Making

    • Preheat oven 180 degree Celsius 
    • Rinse the kale, tear into small pieces and remove any large stems
    • Dry well the kale into a tea towel [ don’t skip this one it makes the kale crispier]
    • In a large mix bowl drizzle with olive oil and salt 
    • Mix well with your hands to combine to evenly distribute oil and seasonings. 
    • Spread the kale over large baking sheets 
    • Bake for 10 min, stir the kale and put it back for 5 min until crispy and golden 

    Ready

5min to cook 

10min to bake

Love letter

How to fall in love with our partner again?

Love, love, love…. love is everything, is everywhere

I love love, everything about it is the greatest and probably the hardest feeling in life.

unfortunately, we often get lost in our love, in a relationship, we forgot ourselves or we get too self-centred that we neglect our partner, we stop prioritising our relationship, we stop seeing each other with the eyes of love, we forgot how beautiful is our relationship and how amazing our partner is, we forgot to remember why we choose each other, why we love each other, we got trap in our everyday life in our routine, until we choose to see the spark again, we all know and have lived those moments. I dare you to tell me one couple that you know, that truly ever loved each other without any troubles, arguments, complications, miscommunication, disenchantment… I do know not myself anyone, or so those people that believe that is not worth annoying themselves with those feelings have made the choice to stay single.

What if we choose differently,

What if, we choose to remember our love instead of our default 

What if, we meet each other tonight forgetting all about what just happened in the last past weeks.

Classic mama Chia pudding

Gluten-free vegan heaven

Chia Seeds are a star ingredient! 

Tiny but incredibly rich in nutrients, they are packed with protein, Omega-3, antioxidants and calcium 

Chia pudding is an easy and quick process to make. It’s amazing, so simple, and delicious you can be as creative as you want, and it’s super good for ya!

Here is a fun simple nutrient-dense recipe that you can make in minutes with just a few superfood ingredients!

RECIPE

Classic mama chia pudding

Ingredients

 

  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1/2cup Unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 or tbsps Maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoonVanilla extract

Topping

  • A hand full of granola
  • ½ mango
  • ½ fresh strawberries or blueberries
  • Coconut flakes, almonds, any nuts or seeds
  •  

Making

  • Same ingredients but 2 methods that will give you 2 different textures

    Method 1 – the whole seed 

    • Pour the chia seeds into a jar or glass container and add the almond or coconut milk, vanilla and maple syrup, whisk together all ingredients
    • Cover the container with film wraps or a lid and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to let gel
    • If the pudding is too firm and you’d like it thinner, just whisk in water a tablespoon at a time during any point of the process.
    • Top with anything you like, granola, coconut flax, mango, any fresh fruits, pecans 

    Tips: Stir once let it sit for a couple of minutes and stir again before placing it in the refrigerator and Make it at night and it will be ready in the morning 

    Method 2– the smooth blended  

    • Place the almond milk or coconut milk, vanilla, chia seeds and maple syrup in a blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes until completely smooth.
    • Pour the mixture in a jar or glass container 
    • Cover the container with film wraps or a lid and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to let gel
    • Top with anything you like, granola, coconut flax, mango, any fresh fruits, pecans 

    Tips: Make it at night and it will be ready in the morning 

Healthy Banana bread

Gluten-free vegan heaven

I have tested this recipe with my French family, they love buttery and sugary French desserts but this one was a banger. Well I only introduced it as a healthy banana bread without much words and my mum did another classic recipe of a lava chocolate cake , well the banana bread won by far. 

I truly recommend you to taste it

RECIPE

Healthy Banana bread recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe mashed bananas 
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil 
  • Cup packed coconut sugar or brown sugar 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
  • 2 tablespoons dairy free milk 
  • 1 tsp white or apple cider vinegar 
  • 1 1/3 cup of all-purpose gluten free flour or oat flour 
  • Teaspoon baking soda 
  • Teaspoon baking powder
  • Teaspoon salt 
  • Optional; ¾ cup chocolate chips 

Making

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C and grease the bread pan with some coconut oil 
  • Mix dairy free milk + vinegar to make buttermilk and set aside for 5 to 10min. In a large bowl mix together the mashed banana, sugar, oil, vanilla and add buttermilk mixture – mix all together 
  • In separate bowl – whisk all the dry Ingredients and mix gently all the ingredients 
  • {don’t mix too much to keep it fluffy]
  • Add chocolate chips 
  • Add the batter in the prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining chocolat chips. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out with just few crumbs 
  • Allow bread to cool in the pan for 5 min, remove and enjoy.

YOGA – philosophy & different types

MEANING OF YOGA

There is no single definition of yoga. In order to experience truth through yoga, we should study its classical definitions and reflect on our own understanding of it.
If we wish to connect to the intuitive, creative part of us, and realize the eternal Self at our core, we need to consider what yoga really is. Each definition of yoga reveals part of the ocean of knowledge and experience that forms the yogic path.

Yoga as a science

Yoga is a science, that is, it is a body of techniques that lead us to consciously connect with ourselves and with life, the experience of yoga. As yoga is a science, there is no dogma or belief system attached to it. Yoga simply tells us to do a certain practice and then to feel the effect of that practice,

e.g. if we breath slowly in a relaxed manner we will slow our heart rate; if we focus the mind we will develop mental peace and deep insight.

Highest philosophical definition of yoga

In Sanskrit, the word ‘yoga’ is used to signify any form of connection, UNION . In a philosophical sense, however, yoga means the conscious connection Union of your self

Patanjali’s definition of yoga

The yoga sutra of Patanjali – « yoga chitta vritti nirodhah » T . ‘Yoga is the blocking (nirodha) of mental modifications (chitta vritti) so that the seer (drashta) re-identifies with the (higher) Self.

Yoga is the mastery of the activities of the mind-field. Then the seer rest in its true nature.

Asana is a mere tool to influence and access the mind Asana, pranayama and meditation are one – not separate

Meaning of Pranayama:

The term is derived from the Sanskrit, “prana,” meaning “life force,” and “ayama,” meaning “extension.”

Pranayama is a comprehensive practice of yoga. The journey of our life towards its destiny has many milestones. The journey is like a river flowing with turns and twists, trials and tribulations. However, in the end, it reaches its destination! The human being is made up of body, intellect, and emotions; all three are interrelated, interdependent, and inseparable. Our life is Prana.

Pranayama is the awareness and manifestation of this flow of energy. Prana is life.

Wherever there is existence as an expression of life, there is Prana.

Yoga can be confusing if you are not a master yogini. There are many different types of yoga out there, and every style has its own benefits.

Personally, I love the variety that yoga has to offer since I can choose the one that feels right for me at the present moment. Here is a guide to the five most popular types of yoga:

– VINYASA YOGA:

Is a flow that connects one posture to the next using the breath. The breath initiates the movement, and it can be practiced in a vigorous, dynamic and stimulating way, and also as a soft, gentle practice. Vinyasa is a practice for everyone. It can be fun, calming, challenging, bring clarity and help you to connect with yourself through movement.

– POWER YOGA:

Is athletic and is a type of Vinyasa that focuses on building strength and endurance. Usually taught with loud and vibrant music, it aims to create a high level of energy, vitality and freedom. Power yoga is a practice for everyone who likes to sweat, strengthen their body and mind.

– HATHA YOGA:

Moves deliberately slowly into different poses that challenge your strength and balance, with a deep connection to your breath and the posture. Hatha yoga focuses on breathing, alignment, balance, relaxation and mindfulness. It is the best for beginners and anyone who likes to focus on each pose and alignment.

– YIN YOGA:

Is a slow-paced style of yoga that works deeply into your body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues, fascia, and meridians, improves energy flow, and balances the internal organs. Yin yoga has several health benefits, calming and balancing mind and body. It is for everyone who likes to nurture calm and deep connection.

– KUNDALINI YOGA:

Is a form of yoga that involves chanting, challenging breath exercises coupled with asana and meditation. The practice is repetitive, and its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, a spiritual energy located at the base of your spine. Often called “yoga of awareness,” it brings balance to the body, mind, and soul. Kundalini is for everyone.
